This week, we talked about the touching visions in three art works. It is not about the physical conditions which I thought about. In Virtual Reality domain, how to build a feeling of touch is always a topic which artist care about.
According to Abrash, the feeling of touch is a very important element without which we can not be embodied in a virtual world. It seems like there are two ways which can be used to generate the feeling of touch currently, narrative which based on perceptual psychology and physical condition which based on computing. Also, in the Archaeologies of touch interfacing with haptics, the whole development process of haptic interfacing technogenesis was devided by five phases. I would like to use these contents to analyze one artwork.

I feel something already in my throat and pain on my stomach when I saw this video. What is interesting is that my classmate feels disgusting which is different with me. We did feel the sense of touch, but we feel different kinds of touch. Thus, I think that in this narrative way, the consequences would like to be influenced by personal experiences. For me, I experienced stomachache, and went to hospital for a gastroscope. This process was painful and recorded in my head. Therefore, the sense of pain will be re-called when I saw this video.
Based on the analysis of the above work, I don't know where the so-called pain I feel comes from. I don't know how to describe it in words. It is not a physical pain. I feel pain, but it is not really pain. This sentence sounds awkward. For the establishment of the tactile sensation in the virtual environment, I am thinking, if there is really a way to simulate physical touch in the virtual space, is it harmful to simulate the impact of the bullet on the human body?
